How to use the free mail tester: send a test email

Copy the unique address, send a non-sensitive message through your normal provider without forwarding, and keep the page open. Suped receives the test; it does not send for you.

Email deliverability test: what your report checks

Review SPF, DKIM and DMARC alignment, blocklists, reverse DNS and SMTP TLS. Marketing-mail unsubscribe checks inspect headers and link patterns, not endpoint behavior or full compliance.

Answers to common questions about sending a test email, reading the report, and deciding what to fix next.

No. It receives a test message, inspects the headers and related DNS records, then reports what happened.

It gives you a unique address. Send an email to that address, then the report checks the delivered message, authentication results, DNS records, sending IP, blocklists, reverse DNS, TLS and unsubscribe headers.

Confirm you copied the current test address and check your provider's sent-mail, queue, bounce or SMTP logs. Keep the page open while waiting. If sending fails before the message reaches Suped, there is no received message for the tester to inspect.

DNS checks show what is published. A real email test shows what your sending provider actually used, which IP delivered the message, which DKIM selector signed it, and whether SPF, DKIM and DMARC aligned.

The tester checks the domain's DMARC record, policy, reporting setup, external reporting authorization, and whether the received message passed DMARC.

The tester checks the SPF record for the return path domain, lookup limits, include issues, unsafe mechanisms, whether SPF passed for the sending IP, and whether SPF aligned with the From domain.

The tester checks DKIM selectors found on the message, validates their DNS records, checks key quality, reports whether signatures passed, and shows whether a passing signature aligned with the From domain.

The tester checks the sending IP, visible From domain, return path domain and HELO domain against email blocklists that can affect acceptance or spam placement.

The tester checks whether the sending IP has a PTR record and whether the HELO or EHLO hostname matches that reverse DNS hostname.

The tester checks whether the SMTP connection used TLS, whether the negotiated TLS version is modern enough, such as TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3, and whether the TLS cipher suite is secure.

The tester looks for List-Unsubscribe, a one-click header marker, a mailto option and an unsubscribe-link pattern in the HTML body. It does not submit unsubscribe requests or certify complete compliance. Interpret these checks in the context of marketing mail, not every transactional message.

No. The score summarizes this report's technical checks, not an inbox-placement probability. Suped does not run a multi-provider seed test or a spam-content scoring engine, and mailbox providers use additional private reputation and filtering signals.

Yes. After a message arrives, use the share link to send the report to a teammate or provider. Anyone with the report link can view its message details, so use a non-sensitive test email and do not include credentials or confidential content.
